Love, love, love

As there’s less than two hours officially left in the day, I need to be quick with this Valentine’s Day-inspired post! Less words, more photos!

So, in a true celebration of love – on a day we’re often preoccupied with roses and chocolates, I’d like to share a snapshot (or ten) from a beautiful wedding I attended on the Matakana coast this weekend.

My dear friends Nicola and Michael have enjoyed 13 fabulous years together, so it was a very special and long-awaited day for them to officially seal the deal in front of family, friends and their three gorgeous children.

This is what it’s all about…

Like so many clever brides, Nicola organised this great day on budget, and I’m sure she’d be pleased to share some of her suppliers if you see something you like – just shout. Two I can point you to for starters: the lovely and very talented celebrant Mrs Melanie Turner, and the Salty Dog Inn – a standout little venue with delicious food, great service and an affordable price tag.
